Apparently Massachusetts enacted some stupid law where males and females have to be allowed to play sports together
The original story is bad enough, but this thread missed the part where the dude was just a loser on the womens field hockey team.

The court determined that a blanket rule prohibiting boys from playing on girls teams, where there was no equivalent boys team, violated the ERA.

I would love someone to tell me how I am bigoted.
If anything I believe in women athletes more than you. An average female field hockey player could absolutely hit a shot that hard and mess up another players face.

This is a clear example why journalism is in the state it is today. It really only matters if you are first to print, it sets the narrative and rarely is that ever corrected. On here most people only read the first few posts (which is clear if you look at up/down votes) and they go about the rest of their life believing the initial report. When something is corrected people have a tendency to wish it away if they believe the initial report. Such is life when the news is above the fold on the front page and the correction is 2 column inches on page 8 of section E.
The real story still begs a question about co-ed HS sports . I have played a lot of rec league co-ed sports and it never seemed to be an issue but I (and most other men) probably slide into second and give a charge differently when a woman is involved, HS students may not have that natural inclination to ease off.

Assault has nothing to do with this situation unless you can show a pattern of behavior or at least speech that would support mens rea. If you can show the player made aerial hits commonly or used an undercut slap on this hit I would at least entertain there was intent.
It is one thing to argue certain or all HS co-ed sports shouldn't exist but a whole different discussion to assign intent to someone based on that video.

Ok so this wasn’t a tranny. It was a regular boy playing against girls due to a different retarded liberal law. In the end, it was still a boy playing against girls and still shows why that shouldn’t be. But big win here for the tranny lovers. Tip of the hat to y’all.
