With your stated BMI I’m sure no one has any issues getting away from the big scary man.

In this country we’ve normalized things like obesity, being on five different prescription medications, homosexuality, and a host of other abnormal behaviors and things. There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing everything possible to be a healthy functioning male. I don’t care who gets triggered or upset over this there is nothing ‘normal’ about being a lazy fat out of shape slob. It’s fricking disgusting and I don’t want to be around fatties period because it’s trashy.

I agree and stated as much in the OP that eating right and exercising are beneficial and I encourage that. I was pointing out that some people become obsessed with their body image but then I realized with the help of the participants that it's basically like a hobby and people have different hobbies that others might find strange but people are just different and that's okay.

I'm not and as I said there's basically nobody I am related to that is obese. I could benefit from losing maybe 10-15 lbs. If I stopped eating after let's say 7pm and cut out the beer entirely it would happen pretty quickly because I have done it before.

But I like beer and food. A lot

Well you’re lucky I guess. Imagine being obese and NOT feeling self conscious

100% man I don't denigrate obese people. food addiction is real and some medical conditions and medications cause people to gain weight.

i hope the GLP-1 thing is proven safe and becomes cheaper for folks without insurance over time because it can really help a lot of people

Bottom line. Women dress to impress other women, not men. Meatheads workout to impress other meatheads.

Not sure what your definition of meathead is other than someone that isn't lifting 15lb dumbbells. I'm not big, but I don't work out to impress anyone. I write everything down, and it's just to make sure I can call myself out for not going hard enough next time.

I do want to kick the guy that leaves his bag on the good deadlift platform for 45 minutes while he stretches before he cranks out four sets in an hour in the pussy though.

I would say the definition is someone that basically overdoes it and obsesses about it. But again it can be looked at as a hobby and there are far worse hobbies.

And also in retrospect I think my using the word meathead repeatedly was a bit demeaning

Honestly this was a pretty shitty thread to make
