Clearly? I don't believe so. But I'll wait for the evidence.

He should have never been in a position to resist or not resist. So your argument is irrelevant.

That’s like you setting my house on fire then saying, well if you get out in time you will live. That’s great but don’t set my fricking house on fire.

The cops were already in the wrong the minute they ripped him out the car.

Also, not to belabor the point on how trashy they clearly are, but there is no evidence suggesting these thugs in uniform wouldn't have killed him even if he "complied." Pure conjecture and these pieces of shite don't deserve that benefit based on what we've seen.

What? Lol - if the police tell you to get out of the car, do what you’re told. It’s not rocket science

There’s another factor that makes this worse than George Floyd. The cops were called for Floyd. Someone said they needed help because a crime was committed by Floyd.

This guy was driving home from work and ripped out of his car. No one called the police and said this guy was misbehaving.

Quit blaming their behavior on "poor" training.

Of course what we saw in the beginning is the police ripping this guy out of his car.

But yeah, rocket science.

These cops never gave him the opportunity to comply. They had their guns drawn, tasers pointed, and 5 guys ripped him out of the car pulling and twisting at him from multiple directions from the word go. He got scared, ran, and they beat him to death, continuing to hold him up and beat him when he had no power to stand anymore. And this was for an unsubstantiated traffic stop as reported by the chief of police.

I know y’all want to say “if he had just complied,” but that bullshite doesn’t work in this scenario. When the union and your own colleagues aren’t standing up for you, then yeah you are in the wrong

You keep imaging this situation as what YOU would do. You are probably a high functioning individual with a decent job.

Do you understand that a large portion of the country has a very low IQ? There was a study the Army did back in the 50s. The found 20% of the population would be totally useless for any sort of job in the case of total war. They were literally too low IQ to even put air in tires of vehicles reliably.

They are perfectly reasonable law abiding citizens that have learning disabilities and social awkwardness.

It’s not as simple as saying “just listen to the cops” when the cops are ripping people out of cars and throwing them on the ground calling them a bitch.

This wasn’t a criminal intentionally trying to fight the cops because he knew he just committed a crime. He was truly shocked and confused.

but this is going to start conditioning cops to just shrug their shoulders when suspects run.

Rodney King didn’t stop police violence, this won’t either.

And FYI, there is a huge procedural gap between letting someone run from the cops, and beating them to death. If a cops response to citizen outrage about fellow cops beating an innocent man to death is to take it personally, or simply not do their jobs, then I think those probably weren’t cop material to begin with.

Still waiting for a video where a cop just starts beating the shite out of someone who is not resisting.

They aggressively pulled an innocent man sitting at a light from a car, slammed him to the ground, guns drawn, and began tazing him.

You seem to be focused on the wrong things here, which is, trying to come up with angles to blanketly excuse any and all state violence against citizens.

No, it will condition cops not to beat people to death even if they run. It doesn’t take a whole lot of common sense to figure out the shades of grey here

So it’s ok for the cops to beat someone to death if they’re resisting? Lick that boot man

Seriously. I back the cop in almost all of these stories, but I don’t know how any rational person could make any excuses here.

Almost no one is saying this. But keep up with the fake outrage.

Police departments are going to end up just like public schools. Complete corruption and lack of accountability. This problem is going to worsen because the complete wrong approach was taken from the beginning, “defund the police”.

Imagine saying “defund the schools” because the teachers suck.

We should have INCREASED the number of police in inner cities and doubled the pay while also raising the standards and training. How about use the $40 billion we sent to Ukraine as a start.
