Exactly, it's also walking back what she did to take some of the criticism away.
I had to do this. It was so hard, but it wasn't just about me.
However, you then see her in the twitter feed and going for a photo op, and basically tells her teammate get rid of that flag. She is a liar.

What progress does she think has been made thanks to her attention whoring? All she has done is manage to polarize and politicize something we should all be able to get behind, ie an American national team winning a world championship. And she’s done so to the detriment of many of her teammates.
