I’d probably keep a few million for myself and go buy groceries for random people across the country. I’ll also go to hospitals and hang out around the billing offices. Everyone who calls in complaining about their hospital bill is getting it paid off by me. I’ll probably buy some homes for some people as well. I’m going to MAGA better than Trump.

Absolutely not. Conservative as they come. But I believe in charity and the only way to ensure charity money is spent wisely and the way it’s meant to be is to do it myself.

Winning a prize that big makes it pretty much impossible to remain anonymous. Even if you set up a family partnership or LLC and have your attorney appear to accept the prize, the media will still track you down. I don't want anyone knowing I won almost a billion dollars.

I disagree. I think if I prequalified the recipients of my help in any way would be welfare. I just want to go out and help people with everyday struggles regardless of need. With Mega Millions money I would be able to do that.

That’s why you’d almost HAVE to donate a lot of it in some way.

Paying for hospital bills for anyone who calls to complain is 100% welfare.

welfare, by definition, is the act of helping people in need

that is worse thank welfare

you would be broke with the quickness with all the hangers-on that would surround you at all time

150 acres somewhere, put a house on it and a wall around it. That way people will mostly leave me the hell alone. Except my money manager. He can come by to discuss my investment strategy with me.

I'm told that you can claim the prize with a trust and then route the winnings to straight to a second bridge trust. I think you can avoid having your real name in the public record that way. Some O-T lawyer will chime in and say that I'm dumb.

Unless you plan to live like a miser, you're going to share some money with family and friends. An idiot relative is going to slip and blab your identity. 100%.

You have to live abroad for a year. Let folks forget about the prize.

I'd be curious if you could just sell the ticket to a big financial law firm obviously for less than the cash prize but in exchange for anonymity
