Louisiana legislature is gonna fiddle fart around with this thing until it takes 20 years for full legalization. Meanwhile, they will continue to hack useful government programs because of budget deficits. It's illogical and self destructive.

We just need old people to die. When the baby boomers start dropping, legalization will ramp up exponentially nationwide, even in the South.

Try convincing blue hair Southern republicans who still hold grudges against hippy Vietnam protesters that weed is a good thing. Its an impossible task.

They just need to die out.

What is it about walk-in coolers that make people want to burn one inside? It's like a moth to a flame.

I'm a grown arse man who just happens to own a walk in freezer. My friends and I still to this very day smoke a J in it from to time.

I would like to say this is a step in the right direction, butt I fear it's going to be Rife with corruption and quite frankly if they allow any input from the redneck Association, errr I mean the sheriff's Association any kind of meaningful legislation will never happen.

The redneck association?
The only reason most of you are in this thread is because you think you'll be able to fake anxiety issues or eating issues to have a script to light up. Unproductive fricks and Im happy that this is how they're doing it. Unhappy about it? Move to one of the state's where it's fully legal

Someone here posted in the past about how a medical mj bill is actually detrimental to full legalization. Can't remember the exact reasons why but it was very interesting.

This is why legalization won't take off nearly as well as it could in LA once it happens.

Competition will be heavily stifled until the legislature and their friends have a jumpstart on joe public.

The people getting this stuff through to the legislatures plan on monopolizing weed. This just happened in FL. They want to legalize it, invest in companies that are licensed to produce, and make millions.

I'm all for legalizing weed, but if it is done corruptly, keep it illegal.

Hey, here's a fact for you.

Lobbyists write the bills. When they write the bills, they write their friends and business interests into them as well.

So yeah, it's absolutely corrupt but there's no bribe. When a legislator gets the language, they can see exactly who they should invest in if said language passes.

This is how your government works. But nevermind that, go scapegoat the ugly man or whatever you Louisiana folks like to do.

That is a clear definition of corrupt. Bills shouldn't be written for an individual's interests or net gain, but for the best interests for the people.

Didn't read the article, but I imagine it puts an even worse taste in the mouth of those who were already opposed to it. IE scrips are handed it out like candy so that pissed the blue hairs off even more.
