Send your email. I’ll call you to let you fix. I’ll pay you exactly what my mechanic was going to pay.

Looked at it? Hahahaha. That’s all he told you? You didn’t ask why?
You must get taken to the cleaners quite often.
Sir, you’re A/C outside unit needs to be replaced. OK go ahead and replace it. HVAC laughs to himself that it’s really just a $10 capacitor. He will then take your old unit and sell it.

Just pathetic. I understand a girl but a guy? Are you a trans? A girl transitioning to be a guy? Which is impossible.

Says the guy who wanted my address so he could come fight me as I replaced his radiator which probably is fine but his stupid mechanic is just throwing parts at his truck and doesn’t know frick how to troubleshoot.
But yeah, let’s fight the guy who was trying to help me on the OT lounge.

alternator
This is the correct answer. Very few can be repaired anymore. They are mostly throwaways and cost big $$$

King, I hope for your sake I am wrong, but I do believe you are not being treated honestly by your mechanic.
Are you still getting the 3 beeb/battery symbol? Has your mechanic said anything about your water pump? Is that maybe where the loud noise is? What was their explanation of the radiator needing replaced? If it truly needs replacing, is Shorty’s not in business anymore? It used to be a great place to take a leak……
And again, did they scan for codes?? If not, you def need to move away from this shop. If they did, ask for the codes and look them up yourself just to at least get an idea.
Are you taking it to a shop or just some guy you know? Care to name the shop?

Yes

He mentioned it could be the pump. He said the radiator was leaking and starting to fall apart but I asked if he thinks I’m good to hold off until the holidays are over before changing. He said probably but said it needs to be replaced.

No but to be fair to the shop. They only do what you ask them to do. If you dont ask for a scan of codes, they aren’t going to scan. Call them crazy if you want. I call them honest.
I won’t name the shop but I’ll say when mechanics are asked about on here, this one always gets lots of recommendations by people on here.

Well alrighty, good luck.

The radiator was topped off but they also said it was going bad
There's no "going bad" with a radiator, it's either good or it isn't.
A new OEM radiator isn't that much, they aren't terribly difficult to replace, but definitely not something you want to sit on the fence for. Those plastic end tanks can fail suddenly, you'll dump all your coolant on the highway and be really screwed then.
As for the charging issue, some Fords have a battery management sensor that frequently cause issues. The sensor tells the alternator when and how much to charge the battery along with other functions.

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer.
