Just a quick search, the 4 counties that have out breaks are heavy with the Hispanics.

Gaines, Lynn, Terry and Yoakum.

What about that meme blames RFK Jr?

Looks to me like it's making fun of the typical anti-vaxxer soccer mom who doesn't let her kids eat gluten or any kind of candy because some Facebook group told her to.

I am not sure that makes much real difference in the discussion

You may not be sure. But the facts are certain these are illegal immigrants that are not vaccinated for measles.

You regressives aren't capable of comprehending this, but being cautious of the 72 vaccines mandated for children under 5 does not mean we are against vaccines for things like measles and polio.

It means that we say the weaponization of the CDC and NIH to try and mandate the bullshite covid vaccine that was not a vaccine. But yeah, let's keep gaslighting everyone. That worked out so well for you guys with Covid.

It's illegal immigrants, dipshit. Not "anti-vaxxer" moms.

You're the typical white suburban woman who believes everything she sees in the news. Do you really believe anyone that lived through covid should not question vaccines? And are you stupid enough to believe that questioning our government equals "all vaccines are bad"?

Be smarter.

She knows. She's just not allowed to criticize these immigrants. They;ll hop on one leg as long as their masters tell them to.

I haven't said a word about RFK. Weird that you would automatically associate that meme with him.

I worked in the school system with offices that helped coordinate vaccine clinics pre-COVID. But by all means, do continue to make assumptions.

The issue isn't "just" illegals. If anything, having school-based vaccine mandates have resulted in illegal children getting vaccinated to stay in school. But, again, there is a healthy number of parents that don't vaccinate their kids in certain areas (largely religious exemptions used) and it crossed the board of political beliefs.

Yet even the current President called it such.

Well, he's wrong to do so.

We should also look at each action on it's own merits and not blindly accept everything one person says or does.

Well they have to be illegal then. Everyone knows there are no legal Hispanics in Texas.

As an aside, does Texas not require childhood vaccination records to enroll in public school?

It's mostly illegals. California has been dealing with plague outbreaks due to the high number of illegals and it's open drug use policy. It's just so weird that West Texas might be dealing with measles and your first assumption is mom's. Not illegals. Who is more likely to not have been vaccinated for measles?

What is the higher likelihood.

That 42 cases of measles is due to at least 42 mom's in West Texas are against vaccines?

Or, 42 cases are due to illegal immigrants crossing the border?

Give me your reasoning. Is West Texas a hot bed for "anti-vaxxer" mom groupthink, so much so that, that in that small population density that number of cases would happen?

Here in Kentucky several of the Pentecostal faith don't vaccinate. We also have Shaker and Amish communities nearby (Southern Indiana for Amish, Kentucky for Shaker) that don't vaccinate.

Louisville itself, in the East End (more upper class), have a share of Granola Mom's who don't vaccinate. It caused a decent sized Whooping Cough outbreak at a HS that I worked at one year.

And yet it makes no sense to pull back public school vaccine mandates if your assumption is the case. Because schools will enroll despite illegal status, one of the positives is that they get kids of illegal immigrants vaccinated with public school mandates.

Some are. You have pockets of religious conservatives that don't vaccinate.

Just like you have pockets of "granola" or "hippie" liberals that are against it.

I personally do not know of anyone. The Covid vaccine is the only vaccine that was of concern.
