That's enough internet today.
There's no place in society for those kids. They need to be tried as adults and locked away and the key thrown away. It takes real demonic monsters to do what they're accused of and no amount of "rehabilitation" can fix them. They will forever be a danger to society on the streets. Unfortunately because of their ages, those monsters will end up walking free within a few years and will end up victimizing others before they finally end up in jail as adults or get themselves killed.

I honestly don't know. Maybe they should let vengeance settle it. No matter how you slice it, these sub human animals will be out by the time they are adults, likely even less human and more dangerous than they are now.
This is definitely a case where the guardians of these mutts need severe punishment as well.

Nine and ten year old children do NOT come up with this behavior on their own. What the hell have they been exposed to in their own home(s)? A serious, in depth investigation needs to be conducted into the manner in which they have been raised and what behaviors they have witnessed or been subjected to.
There are some adults that need to face the full wrath of the legal system and never again see the light of day. As for the two miscreant children - I have no idea how to handle it. I have no basis for even beginning to determine a course of action to follow regarding their punishment. Suffice it to say though, that they learned this behavior somewhere from someone.

there’s a progressive judge out there who will happily let the 9 & 10 year old off with nothing but a stern warning. And the broken media will protect them.

You piqued my curiosity in that regard. Poor child hasn't a chance in hell with a mother like that. Her FB page has 32k followers (wonder why?). I can only imagine the parents of the other kids who committed the atrocities are equally as . . . I don't even know the word to use here.
Apparently I have lived an extremely sheltered life.

I hope I never see something like this happen. But if I do, I know damn well I wouldn't stand there and watch it happen or not intervene. I mean, the absolute lowest form of responsibility would be to go rescue the child once it was over, but these people didn't even manage to do that simple shite.
That's one of the worst parts of the story. I sure hope those witnesses weren't adults or they need a sever beating as well
