I'm pretty left-leaning by this board's standards but these people are pussies if they think the colors of the flag of the country they live in are "aggressive".
I'm so tired of the offended culture that we live in. I grew up in the 80s and if you ever let on that something bothered you then people did it more. If a fat kid got upset for being called fat then everyone should call them fat. The ones who ignored it got left alone.
Stop looking for shite to get offended by. And if something does offend you then fricking ignore it.

I hate to say this, but this country needs a major international crisis or conflict to reunite the USA and get our very own citizens to have pride in this country once again.

As far as visitors, every country has a flag. I would expect to see that flag if I visit.

I think that you are 100% correct...
Those the say The Flag is a bad symbol for whatever reason, would sure stand behind it if something was coming to try and take it all away.
Can you imagine what it would be like if WWII started today.... Imagine Auto makers quite making cars, no imports from Japan or China. Internet and cell phone usage rationed. The Draft, Clothing, food and gas rationed... folks would be screaming that their civil liberties were being abused.
