It’s probably made more difficult by the fact it’s in the mountains. There a couple mountain passes in that area and some incrediby beautiful terrain, but driving those roads before it’s occurred to me how much of a clusterfrick a rescue in inclement weather would be. Especially if they are around Willamette pass.

It's also not just one downed tree like has been posted in this thread. It was miles of downed trees blocking both the tracks and the roads to get to the train. In any case the train is in Eugene now.
