1. mother and daughter 'promoted' this party not just for the neighborhood residents, but invited the general public.
2. they did not reserve to pool/park for the party thus other residents were also using the facilities.
3. the mother and daughter attempted to charge admission fees to the party.
4. the DJ that they hired tweeted out the location for the party and invited the general public to the private neighborhood pool. People mostly teen started arriving and began to harass the residents using the pool.
1-4 not crimes. Don't know who harassed whom.
Again, the police chief said the officer's action were "indefensible"

And? Very few are defending the police. Most think he should not be a cop any longer.
These people were acting like fools and caused problems. Cops should have been called. One officers dumbass actions doesn't negate that.
If you don't agree then hopefully 50 or so kids set up shop outside your house and cause a disturbance. I'm sure you'll just let it go.

LOL, guess you've never heard of trespassing, disorderly conduct or disturbing the peace.

Yet there no charges or citations

its almost like everyone there is in agreement that they should let this go away. cop probably shouldve been on that page from the get go, but clearly he wasnt....
not that inviting 100 of your friends to an event and creating issues/getting in fights is 100% legal.

This doesn't mean a crime wasn't committed. I was pulled over last year for speeding and the officer let me go without a ticket, does that mean I didn't break the law?

Once again....and?
I've been let of with warnings for speeding, but it doesn't change the fact I WAS actually speeding.
The kids were being a nuisance. The cops initial goal was to get them to disperse. That is the rightful action to take given the number of folks there. They were doing that until the one idiot cop showed up.
Still doesn't change the fact that the cops were rightfully called out to break up the party.

I don't have a link, but I heard the older white woman was suspended from her job (the one who was fighting the promoter).

Now that the facts are starting to come in, are you idiots still bashing the cop?

To be honestly I highly doubt she was. The company may have said so in a press release, so the idiots back off and leave them alone.
Just simple damage control from the morons out for blood.

Did those kids do anything unlawful, probably not. But they broke rules regarding the use of the pool, respecting private property, and the promotion of the party.
IMO, the biggest factor to this whole situation was that the police officer lost control of the situation without waiting for backup. Being the size of a hobbit, he did not exude any presence of command or authority to these teenagers.
If the first officer to respond was either those two big dudes that finally came, I think the situation would had been much better handled.

I was thinking the same thing. If they do anything it will be a slap on the wrist.

Looks like Tatiana is lawyering up. The HOA bout to bring the pain.
Although if she is renting a house not sure how she'd be responsible. Maybe there is something in the rental agreement that the renter pays fines incurred.

Late to the party here, but I'm fine with how he handled the situation.

did anyone know about the party before people showed up? do the busy bodies of your HOA search twitter for party flyers? i suppose maybe they promoted it in the area, but im guessing no.
the neighborhood kids knew
there are pictures of Tatiana and her mom setting up for the party on the common area well before the incident
when the DJ started setting up, it would be a pretty big indicator to the residents of something being up. Not a cause for alarm since it was the last day of school. When the DJ started playing loud inappropriate music in the commons area then it should have been addressed.
Pools in an HOA typically have lifeguards, life guards are employees of HOA, lifeguard shifts usually have a supervisor. In our hood, if you have a problem at a neighborhood pool, tell a lifeguard and they will report it to their management or call the cops themselves.

Actually, did you not see that the video was taken with the people on sidewalks and streets. Thus, unless this was a closed-gated neighborhood, those are public areas, the maintenance of the street and sidewalks is the responsibility of the city. Therefore, not trespassing. FYI
