I'm not even from BR, or LA for that matter but I like Kip.

His wardrobe is great.

Why did you edit the part about Sid being on pain pills?

Kip is a horrible mayor.
He could not handle the Alex Sterling shooting.
He thinks he is the ultimate crime expert yet he has a puppet for a police chief.
He not just the mayor of Baton Rouge he is the parish president yet he made very little warning on TV pre flood.
You have damages all over this parish even in the city of Baton Rouge.
This shows BR needs its own council and the parish needs a police jury!
Sheriff Sid finally did his job and put the costume wearing idiot in his place!!!

Let's put those citizens in there place too.

Curfew all the time! Nothing good happens after 10 anyway. With all this fixing up going on, this curfew needs to stay in place for years to come!

I guess you did not lose anything prick!
Let's have shoot to kill looters and we can hang the bodies from trees to send a message with no criminal charges then we do not need a curfew. At this time we do have laws and this would not be acceptable.

I did not get water, but most people did losing most of their items. We had looters in our area who pointed an AR-15 at people who stopped them and officers.

Power is out in some homes and some people leave at night to stay with friends.

Hey lets protect the wussies inside mid city who need to go have a over priced beer at their metrosexual hangout. That is more important than protecting people's property!

Try it and see if they can't. Bring bail money with you as you test this theory out.

The Sheriff CAN enforce this if he feels it's a must. Better to have a curfew than to have a bunch of thugs roaming the streets looking to steal from everyone.

Yes let's.

And take away all our rights while we are at it.

And you wonder why people who fought and gave their lives to protect their lives value these rights more than your boat or 4-wheeler that you should have insured anyway.

Next week you are going to be posting about thanking a veteran - yep you - one who fought for your rights that you just flushed down the toilet.

Thanks, buddy.

I am a veteran who fought in Grenda, Panama, desert shield, and desert storm.

Don't pull that veteran crap me when I got two Purple Hearts!
Shot in abdomen pulling buddy to safety who died still got the scar and land mine blew while sweeping an area damaged my lower left leg!

Don't wave that veteran bullcrap in my face when I am one prick!

Is that the best you can do? To be honest I'm having a hard time understanding you. It's hard to concentrate with all this dub step and overpriced beer.

I guess the veteran that lives next to me in Mid City and has spent the last 3 days rescuing people is a metrosexual wussie.

I didn't start waving the veteran crap. The pussy wants everyone to lose what little they have so he can be super veteran acting like no one else is a veteran.

I just pointed out that I do not need that waved in my face when I served, got injured trying to savie my friends, and almost was killed.

When all I know this pussy could have been a paper pusher at FT Leisure, VA

You're full of shite. I'm calling you out and we both know that no one pointed an ar15 at any law enforcement officer. Pick a time and a place.

Kip has been having a rough time lately.

He was in DC trying to get a passenger rail in Louisiana as proposals were due in a few days as the same time as the shooting. People were demanding he make an appearance.

Cowboy Kip has been a strong advocate of Bayou Country Superfest. A few years ago signed a 5 year lease and now LSU decides they want to upgrade restrooms postponing the event.

Now Sid wants a curfew for everyone and gets his way.

I can't disagree here. For those of you who do not like Kip, can you at least admit Baton Rouge has become better under him? If not, who do you think would have done a better job?
