Why does the City of Baton Rouge need to shut down because EBRSO is "stretched thin"?


Really funny because St. George supporters swore up and down they could patrol St. George along with all other areas just dandy and they didn't need a separate police force.

If Kip and his police force believe they can handle their jurisdiction, why is Sid shutting it down.

We're going to miss Kip Holden real badly this time next year.

Best mayor Baton Rouge has ever had the privilege of knowing.

I've always liked Kip myself, he's done a helluva job bringing events to BR handling things like a mayor should.


Anybody know if the water has gone down all the way between Sherwood and Millerville,say around Fairview up to Sherwood Manor, those subdivisions?

His personality and "quirkiness" made him very likeable. Especially following Bobby Simpson.

The way he handled the police situation post Jeff Leduff was pretty shady.

I get a curfew when power is out everywhere and there is debris all over but that just isn't the case all over.

Dude there are tens of thousands still without power. Flooded streets, people are panicking.

I'm glad that you clearly aren't that affected but plenty of people are.

I do feel bad for the people who normally work nights, bar owners and bartenders and such. But I feel like safety still has to be the number one priority here.

Let me see if I follow your logic. You are safer due to an imaginary curfew?
