5:50pm: While most of the storms are still west of the I-35 corridor, the lightning threat is extending well off to the east. Best to stay inside!

I have noticed that about the weather channel. I typically use NWS for everything regarding severe weather.

Is the weather channel still littered with more ads than the Tiger Stadium scoreboard?
I checked out from the Weather Channel sites years ago when I couldn't handle the overabundance of ads anymore.

The app isn’t all ad’s, but I do get the pop up for their premium shite like every time I open it. That is annoying as hell.

6:16pm - A line of thunderstorms is making its way to the east. Large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes will all be possible through the evening. Make sure you remain weather aware and have multiple ways of receiving weather information. #dfwwx #ctxwx #txwx

have quick question for the more informed guys here. The thin line moving east is the dry line correct? What are:

1) same line moving west
2) the gravitational wave like features depicted over the metroplex?

I didn't see it, but could it have been an outflow or rain-cooled boundary from other storms like we saw in Northeast MS back in March? It moved East to West and had storms firing all along it. It finally met the main front and they merged.
