Mate Guarding and Other Unacceptable Behavior

I'm at an event last night with my girl. It's a dinner/social event for her firm. It's kind of stuffy, mostly suit and tie, and not all that exciting. We're hanging out, having some drinks and she wanders off to mingle. I know people there. She doesn't have to babysit me. I'd rather her do her thing.
I see a chick who is friends with my girl and the wife of a guy who works at the firm. She and I are also friendly. She's very attractive, maybe like an OT 8 or something stupid. She's standing by the bar waiting on a drink so I walk over and start making small talk. We're people watching, joking around listing random retarded things that are more exciting than the event (watching Ancient Aliens, playing Uno, etc.), I pitch her my theory on fat people and babies needing to be banned from airplanes, yada yada. This continues for a good 10 minutes. She's laughing. We're enjoying ourselves.
Her husband walks over, stands next to us and doesn’t say a word. Just stands there. I thought maybe he wanted to talk to her about something so I slide out to grab another drink. When I walk off, he walks off. I get my drink and notice that she is standing there again by herself looking at her phone. We make eye contact and she mouths a few words that I couldn't understand so I walk over to see what she said. We talk for a minute and make a couple jokes, and then sure enough, her husband walks over from across the room and stands right behind her. Not saying anything just looking at his phone.
Do you realize how sad this behavior is? He wasn't even attempting to hide his feminine behavior by engaging in conversation, he just lurked like a creep. I actually felt kind of bad for dude. If you have to hover around your girl to make sure she doesn't fall on Chad's dick, then it's time to find a new girl. Don't be this guy. Be anyone but this guy.

He's probably a cheater so he feels like she is too.

You felt bad for the dude that married the OT 8 that you wanted to be with instead of your girl?
Posted on 3/21/18 at 8:43 am to Pecker
You're married right? So this dude is mad that his wife is talking to a dude that's also married at a work event? What a bitch. This is overused on the OT, but that is seriously some beta behavior.

I don't think you realize you're the Beta. Read all that again.

Because that’s how male Hillary voters roll . When you banged her later did he sit quietly in a nearby chair or did he make breakfast?

I don't think what actually happened is what you think happened.
I will commend you though, because it took some serious gymnastics to get to your conclusion.

A real alpha move would have been for you to stick out your hand to shake his and welcome him into the circle.

Some of y'all just can't help but shove something political into every thread.

Maybe he just likes to watch.

I'm not the one who brought up Hilary in a thread about an insecure dude.

You're so very handsome that he was intimidated.

Maybe she was trying to bait you so the BF could kick your arse.

No you are just an insecure dude who voted for Hillary who melts every time you see her name.
Posted on 3/21/18 at 8:50 am to Pecker
Why didn’t you introduce yourself?
