I’m getting between 5 and 10 a day starting at 9 AM and ending around 5 PM. Every single one is from a random Louisiana town. I’ve had calls from every area code in the state. I block and report each one but they keep coming. Anybody else experiencing this?

Dude, YES. It's been insane. They leave messages constantly. I'm getting messages about government assisted insurance shite, some Covid smell test study, a lot of personal loan places. I currently have 30+ calls since 9am. It's maddening.

Yea, all saying I owe back taxes. If that was true I would’ve heard from the IRS

I once trolled a spam caller and kept him on the line wasting time as long as I could. He must have put my number on some list because I got my phone blown up for a couple of years after.

None of these are political. Most are insurance shite or scams.

I don't know how I've managed it, but I just went back and looked and the last clear spam call I got was on September, 9.

This is why I really, really don't want to get a new phone despite needing one. I just have a feeling that all of that will change with a new one.

I’m in Texas and it’s the same. But all random Texas towns and numbers for the most part.

Probably two dozen a day. If I let them go to voicemail, they slow down for the day. If I decline the call, they immediately call back 4-5 times in a row from different numbers.

I’ve heard it’s from data being leaked and/or sold.

I’ve blocked several hundred numbers and they don’t slow down at all.

It comes in waves. Sometimes I go a month without any than I’ll get them every day for a while

I had the opposite experience. I wasted their time and they quit calling. Whereas a number I sent straight to voice mail called me dozens of times before they gave up or got shut down.

I have been having the same issue for about two weeks from all different parts of Louisiana. This morning I have had 5 calls and can add TX and AR to the list. At first I would answer and just hang up, now I just let it ring in hopes that they give up. Most of the calls happen during working hours, but last night I got one at 7:47PM.

My phone is set to not ring if they are not in my contact list.

They can text or leave a voicemail.

Restored my sanity.
