Power can be intoxicating to some.
What you are seeing all across this country by some of these Chiefs and elected leaders is nothing more than identity politics/virtue signaling to appease what they believe are the mass of their constituency. They feel compelled to embarrass themselves or risk not staying in power. Heaven forbid they stand on the laurels of a proven track record they are willing to defend.
This cuck looks like he would sell his soul if it meant keeping his job as a top cop. The lack of integrity and their quick compromise of their own ideals is sickening.
