People here love to get outraged about things that are factually incorrect and that don’t impact them

To be clear, I don’t like government making more laws, especially pointless ones like this because the impact on the environment is basically non-existing. But for 99% of residential home owners, electric yard appliances are just as good and more convenient than gas operated tools.

People will ignore it and rightfully so. Imagine arresting someone using a leaf blower.

Dems in NY executed a squirrel. Arresting someone for a gas operated leaf blower is small potatoes.

The residential neighborhoods are gonna get super pissed when the lawn care folks don’t come anymore because it’s logistically impossible to mow as many yards in the day that they do and manage keeping batteries charged for blower.

I would have thought the same thing but the last couple of houses I watched being built didn't use a single pneumatic nail gun. From framing to finish it was nothing but battery-operated guns. I would have thought it would be a PITA but apparently it isn't. Given the battery capacity today coupled with a multibank charger running on an inverter, a lawn maintenance crew should have no problem. I would bet it is even more time efficient over the course of a day.

Raking/blowing leaves is a social construct that is scientifically unnecessary.

Residents also managed to get restrictions on train speed and the use of horns at night.

And they 100%ignore the horn thing.

what would happen if you drove to New Hampshire, bought a gas powered echo, and returned to Mass?

you know how they feel about "crossing state lines".

yea but some blowers identify as gas and others identify as battery.

No they don't like the idea of general public having gasoline.

I'm buying one soon. My body is getting to the point where sweeping/raking just isn't a good option.
