Yeah, I have feeling if the government ever does decide to crack down and start rounding people up, eliminating them etc. that whatever weapons they are using are going to make guns look like slingshots. Killer drones, sound wave technology and God knows what else advanced weaponry these people possess that the general public has no clue about.

Motive is obviously more complex than domestic, just going after his ex in-laws. He could have killed them at their house where he could possibly have even gotten away with it. Showing up to a crowded church and shooting so many others, including children, proves it wasn't just domestic.

He sent the mil "threatening text messages" that morning. We don't know what those said, but we do know there was something going on with his mil. Who knows what was going on his crazy head about making some kind of statement or making the ex in-laws feel pain. Maybe he knew they wouldn't be in the church, but family and friends would be. Who knows.

Bushmaster AR-15 used to kill 20 kindergartners. Wonderful weapon. Columbine used a Tec Submachine semiautomatic pistol. What more do you want to know about these guns. They did the job which it was designed to do. Lots of innocent kids and families ruined because these kids had access to guns that shouldn't be on the market to begin with. Tell me a good argument of why these types of guns should be sold at your local Academy or Gun Show. Possible invasion from Canada, to defeat the USA military if the government takes over, protection from a local mob? What would be the intent or design of a gun like these other then to kill numerous people.

Then you correct me and tell me what they are designed to do other then to efficiently kill as many human beings in as short of a time as possible and cause mass casualties to other humans. My "agenda" is so more innocent people don't have to consistantly die because of these mass shooting that are becoming more frequent. You can choose to stick your head in the sand and saying these now common shootings just comes with the turf, nothing we can do. That is your right.

This is always my favorite talking point that comes up in these situations. Acting like the "other side" has some kind of monopoly on politicizing horrid tragedies. I'll let you in on a little secret. Neither "side" has a monopoly on using tragedies to further a political narrative. Look no further than people all out explicitly wishing the shooter to be Muslim or ANTIFA or something else. When it turns out it's just a white guy, conservatives scream about the left politicizing the tragedy to take away guns. When it's a Muslim, liberals scream about the right using it to ban Muslims. Wash, rinse, repeat. Hooray America

What features make them "designed to kill as many people as possible"? I mean, it seems like automatic weapon fits that description more, but since you are clearly a firearms expert, I'm curious what makes a semiautomatic rifle more effective.
I mean, should I get rid of my buddies semiauto .22? It has a magazine that holds 25 rounds I believe. Hell, my little Winchester .22 semiauto holds a dozen rounds.
