My working theory as of today.
1. He acted alone, myself or any of my 60 something year old friends given enough cash or credit could do what he did in the course of a week or two, not even months.
2. He had done well in real estate, liquidated assets and was enjoying retirement, but because of the gambling lifestyle had burned through most of his money.
3. Seeing the end of his money and no way to earn more, combined with the pains that come with old age, and possible depression, he started planning his own demise.
4. He apparently had no need for much socialization, classic loner, other people were not something he had devoted any emotion to, he was likely the type that rather than blame himself for the position he was in, he blames the world. He decides if he is going to take his own life why not do it in a way that lets the whole world know who he was.
That's all this was, it is likely going turn out to be that simple.

Didn't it say he made like $2m on selling his real estate on the last page? No kids, decent income and good investments is a pretty solid combo to be comfortable and then some
No, his net worth is around $2mil, but normally most of that is tied up in your real estate. It isnt $2mil in the bank.

One thing that I wonder about is how did this 64 yr old dude with a bum leg fire off over 1000 shots in 9-11 minutes. That seems like a shitload for someone not in shape....

how would you know his net worth? The 2 mil number comes from his brother saying that is what Stephen cashed out of a business they sold
It was reported somewhere over the last couple days, I believe. Maybe I am wrong.

Shooting towards the ground from the 32nd floor? I am gonna say probably not....

He said the cameras at the door and peephole weren't recording. Those were supposedly like baby monitors. He also said the one inside the room wasn't broadcasting the first day. Never said anything about it recording or not. In fact, everyone got the impression that it was recording from his statement

I wouldn’t rule it out, but I’ve never shite a gun in that position, while aiming down

Just read in the link posted in this thread a few pages back that the room was comped
I know. That’s my point. He knew he wasn’t going to escape. So he got room comped, instead of paying cash under alias.

His brother said that Stephen Paddock made some $2 million when the two sold their real estate business a few years ago.

I know an FBI guy that could get some info. Definitely not gonna push him on the issue, and I definitely wouldn't tell you tards
You have to ask yourself....how hard is it to turn on a camera and press record? That's two buttons. A follow up to that question is why would he have a baby camera to watch himself?
The camera inside was recording

You would not be able to stay at Mandalay Bay with cash and no ID. Card and License required.

There was a bipod on a few guns, including the one that was set up right by the front door apparently ready to ambush anyone coming in.
Wouldn't this guy be able to see it was just one security guard on his camera?

Do you not think a man with financial means that wanted to escape wouldn’t be able to secure a fake ID and burner credit card in that fake name?

Dude is like ex-FBI, so you get the picture he has actual friends involved in the active investigation.
I'm just trying to follow the money. He quit his job at Lockheed and divorced around 1990 and was never really settled since then but has income coming in for him to invest and play video poker. It's weird from an average joe perspective. Bills and debts and all that shite.

If he used his name for the status, but that kind of defeats the purpose, no?
