All the videos I've seen appear to be from well after it happened. Where are you finding the videos? I'm interested in seeing the initial moments to see how people reacted.
Everyone is filming at a concert so I imagine there's tons of videos.

All along I was thinking the way none of this adds up I thought he filmed the entire thing. Just his ability to do this much, set up cameras, etc lead me to believe he had.

Woah. Hopefully it contains a motive.
This shooting has just been insane.

Any extradition protection issues in Philippines?
What crimes are they charging her wih though? If she hasn't already come back or is otherwise in custody, she is gone.
This 8s going to be a deep plot, with the lack of info out there. We are just getting snoppets that point towards possibilities.

She's a person of interest
The police have no power to compel anyone to answer questions... please see the 5th amendment. Unless they are going to arrest her, they can't force her to come in and talk to them.

One of the videos you can hear someone yelling its fireworks and people still standing around and that was after the second round of bullets had finished (100+rounds). First 5 mins they were literally sitting ducks.

quote:She's gone? No. Philippine authorities would find her and allow FBI to question her there. Then they could extradite her back to the US if applicable. In the meantime someone here said she's coming back to US tomorrow so doesn't matter really.

Paddock shot through his door and hit a security guard in the leg.
Why would he shoot so low, as the photo appears to indicate, rather than torso center mass?

Extradition Treaty
Sounds like maybe extradition could be forced on this article.
To be clear, I am no expert on this matter- just my interpretation.
quote:
Article 2(2) defines an extraditable offense to include also an attempt or a conspiracy to commit, aiding or abetting, counselling, causing or procuring the commission of or being an accessory before or after the fact to an extraditable offense. For such crimes, the Treaty accommodates the differences between U.S. and Philippine criminal law (the Philippines, for example, has no general conspiracy statute) by creating an exception to the general dual-criminality requirement and permitting extradition if the crime is punishable under the laws of the Requesting State by deprivation of liberty for a period of more than one year, or by a more severe penalty, and the underlying offense is an extraditable offense.

Where are these photos? I've only seen the one of his dead body.

Why would he shoot into a crowd of 22000+ people. Don't try to rationalize it.

She is expected back to the U.S. on Wednesday (tomorrow). I have no doubt she was greeted by the FBI yesterday
I'm guessing she's both had conversations with them and will be followed quietly for months at this point

Such a cop out line of thought

I don't think so, they just want to interview her about him, they are saying she is not a suspect in any crimes, so they cant extradite her, even if she was on US soil, they cant force her to talk to them about his crime.

Again, only if they are charging her with conspiracy or one of those other things.
Now, the Philipinnes is probably happy to get her and the FBI in a room over there without bringing her back. That wouldnt take much negotiation.

This video is insane.
It doesn't start with the first shots. I can tell you that Jason Aldean starts in on a song and sings about 15 seconds of it while the shooter is opening up on the crowd. Then he runs and the crowd is still confused. Then they slowly start figuring out what was happening.
