There was a cop on the 31st floor within two or three minutes. He said he was directly underneath the guy. The first radio transmission that he was in the MB halfway up was within a minute of the situation starting. Other cops confirmed it every minute or two after that

At the start of the video the gunfire is very close to the person taping and right after you hear an echo. At the 45 second mark there is more gunfire from a greater distance away.

He was shooting from 2 different angles. Depending on where she was situated from the 2 windows the sound would be very different. Also, the shooter could have been closer/further away from the window when firing at different times.

There are several realistic variables that would cause the sound to differ between shots.

This is all the proof I need to confirm there was more than one shooter

You've got echoes.

You've got the shooter moving from one position, that's right over the driveway where the car is located and likely firing over/towards the car and is on the side of the building that "faces" another building-wing (keeping the sound "in"), to the second position, that is farther from the car and pointing more "out over nothing."

You've got the car moving around, which will change the sounds.

Solid proof of nothing!

The echoes make it seem that way. Most incidents people report multiple shooters due to the echoes. (I'm no expert, just repeating what I've heard).

IMO it's early yet to rule it out completely but echoes, muzzle direction, even the limitations of smartphone microphones, could make one gun sound like two. The apparent lack of cameras in the hall is a letdown to disproving it. However if the security guard was wounded but stayed in the general area, and lived to report no one left the room, there's that.

Were all of the guns the same and the ammunition the same? He had 10+ guns up there, maybe the one he had ready for window 2 were a different caliber or had a suppressor, or something else that could explain how they might sound different.

I have read the last 15 pages and I just don't understand people's mindset. It's like people always want something to be more than what it is.

First, this guy's dad was psychopathic and I assume that can be a trait that can be passed on right? It really isn't hard to stay off the radar and with all the guns and ammo this guy had, it might have been some type of fascination he had or a fantasy of his to open fire on a crowd of thousands of people.

People just can't process that someone would just do that without some type of motive, but if he actually had true psychopathic tendencies then there is something his brain that allowed him to do something that the majority of the human population isn't capable of.

With a few exceptions, they've ignored the one truly questionable allegation: His girlfriend was coincidentally out of the country?

We don't even know anything about her. The media pic of the guy came from a social media account that had 3 posts. Her pic isn't telling at all either.

I think the motive is pretty clear.

Older baby boomer liberal shoots country music loving conservatives.

I don't think he was put up to it as some grand conspiracy. I'm pretty sure he was just brain washed by whatever media he consumes until he snapped.

The only conspiracy to my line of thinking is that the government is down playing that angle so it doesn't erupt with retaliation. Which seems entirely plausible.

The windows weren't that far apart so unless he had a suppressor it's hard to believe it would sound as distant.

The windows face two different directions. The directional sound would be completely different. It's no different than a person speaking on a stage. As the person speaks facing forward it sounds good to you. When he turns and speaks to either side, his voice travels in a different direction causing a delay to you and a different volume to you. You may not notice the delay while sitting there but it's absolutely there. The sounds take longer to reach you making it seem to be at a further distance.

One last note, there's no second shooter. The shooting stopped immediately upon the death of Paddock. If there were two, they would have had one in the corner window and one from the front window. Why would they have one shooter running back and forth from window to window if they had two shooters? A lot more deaths would have ocurred had there been a shooter in both broken windows. Two shooters would have planned it this way. Paddock is the lone shooter.
