no clue if Paddock used carbon fiber AR pistols, just mentioned how light they are and very easy to conceal in bulk.
he had 19 rifles in the room, which were mounted on tripods , in front of 2 windows
his weapons were likely modified with "bump stocks" and/or some version of a GAT trigger

If he was setting up a camera system to monitor the hallway for security and police, it seems that security for the hotel who watches the live feeds would find it weird that a guest was setting up a camera system outside of his room, right?
Most places don't have cameras on the hotel floors, just in the lobby and casino. A lot out here don't even have them in the elevators but I believe Mandalay does.

It's like some of you people have only stayed at a motel 6 or something. That's very easy to do especially for only a few days.
Serioslusly. I regularly leave the Do Not Disturb on the door for 3 days at a time. I dont want them to clean until I leave. Less chance they steal my shite.

His brother stated per yahoo that he was worth millions. If so, all the money should be given out to the victims and first responder's.

Actually, I was born in LA. (Lower Alabama, Mobile Infirmary to be exact). I attended the Harvard of Baton Rouge, and thus I enjoy posting on this board and cheering for my beloved Bayou Bengals. I now live on Oahu, and don't mind poking fun at folks from time to time, particularly when I know they can take it....

What about other guests who see a camera or two outside a guests room? I mean, it just seems like that would raise a red flag and need to be reported? Or I guess the other guests assumed the cameras were for the hotel?

Cams are pretty damn small now. He could have camouflaged them too using the decore in the hallway. We have no idea the specifics.

He had the corner room at the end of the hallway.

Is there a way for gun manufacturers to “fix the fix”? Meaning a way to block it where mods can’t be made?

Vegas is a weird transient place. People just ignore all sorts of things because there is so much going on.

I have not seen any of the pictures, videos, audio, or mainstream media since seeing the thread last night at 1:30 am.
Has anyone that's watched any of the videos on twitter listened to the sounds of the rifle fire? Did it ever sound like more than one firing at a time?

Not really. These things were developed as work arounds. Change the weapon design and a new device will come out that counters It.
Only thing you can really do is more legislation, which pretty much has no effect

Please enlighten me on which hotels have cameras on their floors. I mean, only one of us has actually worked at hotels in Las Vegas but I'll believe you if you know otherwise.
