Baton Rouge has a lot of high exotics. If anyone is interested visit Hi Performance Detail or Vinnie's Exotics Facebook pages and you'll see. Plus theirs Mr Dan, an older white guy that basically has his own fleet of exotics.
I will say though, the only Bugati Veyron in the area is here in New Orleans, a doctor just got it a few weeks ago.
Now of course if you give no fricks about cars/exotics then none of this post will interest you.

Is Dan that guy with the Enzo and McLauren among others?
While not an exotic, I thoroughly enjoyed watching a guy speeding/swerving through traffic in a black NSX lose control and moderately smash his ride into the barrier on I-10 @ college. csb

Yes, Dan had a Enzo (think he sold it now) and has both a Mclaren F1 from the 90s and the newest P1 also.
Sounds like the NSX was served instant Karma lol.

Yea it's been probably 8 yrs or so since I saw that Enzo pulling out of Calandros on Siegen. Someone here mentioned a few years back he had a bunch of cars. He have a site or FB to check these out?
~3 years ago I saw someone in a fine white Nissan GTR(?) on Highland near Perkins. Those are kind of rare around these parts.

Nah, no FB or website that I know of. From what I've seen the few times of meeting him, he doesn't really brag or likes to show off his collection but he will talk to pretty much anyone about his cars if hes approached. Hes not one to start talking about his cars to random people. Maybe he brags all the time to his close friends though, idk lol.
Yep, I have a few friends with GTRs, one makes 1300whp. They are pretty nice.
You should come out to the CC's/Walk-Ons Parking lot on Burbank by LSU the first Saturday of each month. Baton Rouge holds a Cars & Coffee meet up from 8a-11a. You can look up the meet on facebook also, I can't link FB pages at work but just search "Baton Rouge Cars and Coffee" and you'll find the page i'm sure. I try and make it every other month or so since I live in NOLA. We're actually having our monthly Cars & Coffee meet tomorrow morning down here.

Thanks. I love fancy cars and stuff but I'm not the most knowledgeable. I'll park my Honda Accord far away and just come ogle.

Lol, all good man. I use to drive my single cab Dodge Ram and parked next to a Ferrari F430 one day, got out and shook the hand of the owner of it and went on about the meet lol.
One thing i've learned is that car guys really don't care if you don't have something "high end" or fast. Sure we all have our brands we like and argue about but when it comes down to it you'll be able to walk up and talk to pretty much any one there.

Yep, the rumor is he is good friends with Jay Leno and Dan was in L.A. picking up his P1 and Leno was there and had his Huayra. Well they let each other drive the others car and they both liked the other one so they then each ordered the other one (hope that makes sense somewhat lol).
100% a rumor I heard but pretty funny if true.
