Nobody is saying he shouldn't be punished for vandalism. People are chuckling at the widespread leftist use of white supremacist and fascist not being a hate crime, but calling someone a groomer is.

And before he says no I don’t think all Catholics are pedos but the truth is there is way more evidence of the Church supporting pedos by hiding them compared to the gay community

Funny, every time I've seen a Church pedo busted, I have yet to see anyone who attends that church rally around said pedo and beg for tolerance.

They all chose to lump themselves into the same conglomerate as it gave them more social capital for their causes. Their conglomerate is pushing this behavior and calling it "tolerance", "awareness", and "acceptance". There's an extreme amount of pressure on those individuals to keep quiet out of fear of being excommunicated from the conglomerate. Until they do, they're going to be lumped in with the actions of the group at large.
