So are you okay with 1-6 month dry spells?

It’s called mashing your bag and it’s inexpensive and peaceful and it doesn’t require commitment.

If she's cool and has a good job/money, hell yeah....someone to spend my empty nest into retirement years with who enjoys the same things I do and the means to help support that lifestyle? Count. Me. In.

Now, a divorcee with kids at home, little to no net worth, nah...I'll pass.

Well guys I just had to start contemplating this. On a business trip and my wife just told me she wants a divorce.

Nope for me.

I would have party pad with hot tub, huge tv to have sports parties, Van Halen blasting on the speakers around the house, and only single chicks allowed to party.

Probably buy another motorcycle and just cruise around the country.

If this is true, time to lawyer up and start diverting cash.

And be sure to have some type of credit monitoring service. If you have shared credit cards be sure to remove her as an authorized user.

Well if she goes first you can still end up dying alone.

True, but who knows how I will feel at that point in my life. Maybe I'll be content being alone. I have grown children. Or maybe I'll still feel that I'm young enough to enjoy things with companionship. If that, then I guess I'll date again.

My point was, at this time in my life, after being alone for quite some time, I decided I missed companionship and someone to do things with. I chose to change that. It comes with some sacrifices but I feel it was worth it.

That could all change tomorrow. Just sharing my view with the OP.

Perhaps you should put down your religious beliefs and look into getting a life, lol.
