Well then what are you asking? If you aren’t happy now you aren’t going to be happy when you get married. Then when you get married and get a divorce it’s going to cost you extra money.

Takes a lot of words to save a guy like that.

It could’ve been distilled into a 50 word paragraph

I've been married a long time and this is really good advice.

There's a bitch in every relationship. Let's all do our best to make sure that the bitch is the one God Almighty intended to be the bitch.

My wife initiates sex as often as I do

It would be boring to me being the only one that ever did. This thread makes me feel pretty good about our sex life though.

I've been in one long term relationship like the OP and it wouldn't have worked. I'm glad we didn't get married.

That’s like being a Yankees fan. Sure it’s nice to win the World Series all the time. But if you’re the Cubs and you finally pull one out, man that’s a great feeling.

I think it can happen but it’s rare. Doesn’t take a lot of searching to see that many guys with healthy sex lives will mention that their girlfriend/wife doesn’t initiate as much as they do.

You either have a unicorn or are high value enough that she’s super into pleasing you. That’s hard to get to. Either kudos on the good fortune or kudos on being that awesome.

I remember a while back Tyga Woods was not gonna have sex again until his wife initiated. I think that lasted a week.

Exactly how long had y’all been dating before she was pregnant?

How old is your fiancé?

This is very clearly a big issue for you. I would most certainly get this resolved before getting married. Otherwise, you're stuck and it will cost you more later if you decide you can't live with it.

I am not married, nor have I ever been married, but damn near every married guy I speak with says their sexual relationship with their SO rarely gets better once you get married.

It's actually quite terrifying if you ask me.

So I love my fiancé (no pics) Been together 4 years. Have a beautiful child. Getting married soon But to me our sex life isn’t great. She’s very “vanilla” I’d like it to be not that. We’ve talked about it. And she’s just not willing to explore kinks or different things. We also don’t have sex very often. And when we do, it’s like she just says wanna have sex. And that’s a turn off for me. Like rub on me do some foreplay something. I dnk what to do. Or I try and I get turned down, “I’m not in the mood, I’m tired, not now” and it makes me want to just say frick it and never try. She also neverrrr iniates it. It’s always me that does. Makes me feel shitty about myself. Before the kid, we had sex more often a few times a week. Now it’s once every couple weeks but again it’s pretty vanilla. Is this normal? Do other married folks have this issue?

This is not a troll post. I’m legit just trying to see others experience. Can you have a successful relationship with not being on the same page on this? She has so many great qualities. And I truly want to spend my life with her.

Dude dont get married.
