I have to assume the market on these is about to fall off a cliff...they've been going for batshit crazy covid prices in the $250,000 range.

everything's falling off a cliff since you can't finance it for .99% anymore.

They will go down to 225k.

Collector car market hasn't missed a beat. Will be on display next week on Scottsdale

I was wanting an older bronco before the new ones came out but lately the prices are ridiculous.

A decent driver - Something you used to be able to pick up for about $25k are now going for 40k+

A project something you could pick up for $5-8k are going for $15k and that’s not even with a running engine or all of the parts.

A nice one that doesn’t need anything are going for $75-100k plus.

This

Middle class baws are gonna struggle to afford notes on their f250 and the wife’s Yukon and whatever other toys they have

But rich collectors will still pay whatever for whatever they want

I sold my '73 Bronco to those dudes. They posted it immediately for sale and flipped it for a very nice profit. They're kinda scummy.

The people buying $250k toys are richer now than ever before. If the market moves down, it's not going to be significant.

For that price I’d want an ICON Bronco.

$250K for an old little 60 something to 77 Bronco is a complete outlier. I caveat that by saying $100K though is not a stretch but still obscene money. I have seen a bunch in that $80K to $100K range that are completely restored and practically mint. $250K, that bitch better be able to do time travel.

What did you think they were going to do? Sell it for a loss?

Looks like that one is an original with only 567 miles. That’s why it is so high.

In 2019 I paid in the low 20's for a '71 that ran good, stopped ok, rode and steered awfully, and with very minimal rust. To date I've put another 40 in it and it runs really good, stops excellently, rides and steers great, and has no rust. I've got about another 15-20 to go before Im "done" with the things I want to do to it. So as you can see its easy to get to spending 70-90K even doing 90% of the work yourself.

And by no means is mine of show quality like the ones you're getting for 250K from shops like Velocity.

Prices for them are stupid, but I doubt there are a ton of them at $250k. Now if you would’ve said around $100k, I’d believe that in a second.
