How exactly is that his fault? If my boss offers me a raise, I'm not going to check with all of my co-workers to make sure they make as much as me. I'm taking the money for my family. Also, he is a bigger name.

I can't wait until they blindly hand awards to women and black people because it's "the right thing to do". Those award ceremonies will be completely discredited by their own hand.

666% more? No freaking way. This is similar to that woman E! commentator who worked side-by-side for 10 years on the same reporting desk with some guy she found out make three times as much as she did. This is just wrong.

The comment caught my eye lol. No wonder she made so much less. I wonder what he would think if they offered to give her 600% more than the $1000 hahahaha. He'd claim victory I suppose.

I guess marky mark's history as a felon doesn't concern them. It's just his salary.

This is a perfect example of why you shouldn't expect actors to be good leaders. Just imagine what kind of deal she would have made with North Korea or Iran.

You could have quit waiting last year, or the year before that, or the year before that.

Meh. The Hill is just a leftist rag with an annoying agenda and Marky Mark is awesome.

If I make more than my male colleagues, it is because I’m worth it.

Michelle Williams is a great actress, but she's never been a draw as a leading star.

the people behind these nonsensical "#meetoo/#timesup" movements are filled with misguided anger and ignorance. Facebook moms will eat it up though.

"you go girl! get those evil men!!!"

Exactly. It is her fault. Her supporters should be saying, “You dumb $&*%, why you let your agent accept a measly $80 per diem when they needed you to do this remake?”

Not really. Hollywood loves to preach diversity but if you actually look at the past Oscar winners it’s still mainly white guys. It just speaks to their hypocrisy. And Moonlight winning last year doesn’t mean they’ve always just handed awards to blacks or women.

Kathryn Bigelow is the only female director to win best director. No black person has ever won best director

2006 was the last time a black guy won best actor

Only 1 black woman, Halle Berry, has ever won best actress

The supporting actor/actress category is the only one you could debate if you wanted to

Which ones should have?

I still hope for the day we don’t see race or gender and just force things because of it.

As far as Oscars and leading role

Jamie Foxx was incredible in Ray and he got it over Leo, Eastwood, Depp, and another in Cheadle. Goodness he was incredible in that. As if he was born to play the role.

That same year Foxx was up for best supporting in another movie and Morgan Freeman won. Was kind of a weak category that year I think though.

It seems pretty hard to win an Oscar regardless. Took Leo roughly 23 years since he had his first major role to finally win one.

Moonlight over LaLa Land was strictly a vote of white guilt, nothing else
