not mad, but as I alluded to in an earlier thread related to this subject, I expect many of you would be surprised to learn the history behind many of the laws relating to the homeless and what the ultimate goal behind those actions

What was the ultimate goal? I missed the prior thread.
Also, most of the homeless suffer a mental illness and/or have lost their entire family or support system. They really just need community and I think they would be back on their feet in a year or so.
