you have no material and even if you did, I would never steep low enough to steal it. run back to Reddit.

That’s a lot of words that just prove my point. You could have just said “I’m mad!” and I promise the same sentiment would have come across.

Well that’s bullshite. Youre point is that it’s manufactured outrage, and that’s a lie.

I am very pissed off about all of those things. I’m very pissed off about our future and the future my children will have. I am not OK with just standing by and watching it happen.

You’re point was some bullshite kumbaya reach across the aisle perspective as if all of things I listed should be disregarded and they aren’t really that big of a deal, and I’m telling you that you’re wrong.

Be right, be wrong. I am not reading your diatribe either way. Just don’t be an a-hole. That’s all I’m saying. Though that point seems to fly over your head like facts that you don’t agree with.

Oh I’m absolutely an a-hole. Work in progress

Maybe in my older age I’m just exhausted. But being angry is exhausting and most people mean well, even when you disagree with them because they are borderline retarded.

…again - work in progress!

Ahh, turn the other cheek aye?

Tell me, of all of those thing I listed, what isn’t a fact? Name one single thing that isn’t a fact.

all you have the person you are arguing with in return is a bunch of holier-than-tho-ism’s without actually addressing any of his concerns, that’s not just being an a-hole…

I posited that we should all be nicer. He responded with a laundry list of reasons why he feels entitled to be an a-hole. Why I am I required to respond to that?

I also set the bar for that at 1%. I’m trying to be part of that but failing constantly. If you and the other guy are content being part of the 99% (let’s be real you’re both part of that in more ways than one) that’s up to you.

I, of all people, shouldn’t write this. I will, however, share what the pastor said this morning.

If you’re a Christian and you believe that means we are called to be Christ-like, then this applies to you. He told the story of Zacchaeus, the chief tax collector, who climbed up a tree to try to see Jesus as he passed by. Zacchaeus was despised by the general public and was short of stature. When Jesus passed by he stopped, pointed at Zacchaeus, and told him to come down because he wanted to spend time with Zacchaeus in his house. Those around were perplexed because Jesus wanted to spend his time with a sinner who had cheated them unfairly out of excessive taxes. (Yes, preposterous because we are all sinners, but it’s what WE do). Jesus connected with people (sinners) and pointed them to his Father so their sins could be forgiven. He did not start by condemning people, and then, if they changed their sinful ways, decide that he would connect with them.

You have every right to upset with all of the evil things people are doing. I do not have the answers, but I do believe in love the sinner and hate the sin. I also believe that the good are not weak and there is a time and a place when the good must take up arms and set things right. So, I’d like to try to keep a door open for those who are so confused and have no moral compass, but the evil should get their just rewards when they act in evil ways.

Be nicer my baw. That’s all I’m saying.

In fact, hell of a tombstone quote if I wasn’t against being buried!

My guess is you are an avid church-goer.

Charlie Kirk tried being nice and sitting down to speak with people opposing his views. Look at what it got him.

that would be a swing and a miss. I’m curious as to where you were going with that. what do you have against good church going people? I know quite a few.

Jesus was nice to people and sat down to speak with those who opposed his views. Look what it got him. I’m pretty sure neither of them had the message of “well we tried the nice way so frick that!”

It’s amazing how much I have to argue the side of “hey maybe don’t be an a-hole to others.”
