If i am eating 1 cheese-it, then no s on the end(or z), but you don't eat just one cheese-it. So you are saying the plural. Name is singular

Don't you know the bologna song?

Berenstain Bears and the cornucopia boggle my mind.
Why would my toddler to young child self autocorrect for a Jewish spelling of the bears when I had no idea bout Jewish surnames at the time. Makes no sense.

Also, why would millions imagine a cornucopia behind fruit? No reasonable explanation of that one either.

Pretty sure there was a Sinbad genie movie too.

I've never had issues with the other ones.

Could be something there. Simulation? Alternate realities? But I'm definitely not assuming that millions just misremembered things in the exact same manner. That is a far more unrealistic and contrived response to me.

I think even as children we had already run across a lot of names ending in -stein.

This one is Sinbad getting mixed up with Shaq who was in Kazaam. At the time, Sinbad was already in a few movies so it makes sense.

I like thinking about the simulation theory because it's absurd but also would explain a lot of things, but I think in most cases of the Mandela effect it was just some event in pop culture, or some event didn't match our conditioned expectations, that triggered some people's brains to conflate things.

The sinbad one trips me out I can distinctly remember him being in a movie Shazam and watching it as a kid, but apparently it doesn't exist.

You watched Shaq as Kazaam. Shazam is a different character and the movie is more recent and the actor is white.

Also Sinbad did host a show or something about Sinbad the Sailor, and he did it in costume:

So that made the Sinbad-genie link.

These along with the Field of Dreams misquote suggests the author of the story is a complete dumbshit.

Sindbad was a genie in some production in the 80s/90s. We all can’t be wrong here.

See up a few posts. He wore a turban while hosting a Sinbad the Sailor thing.

Probably because millions of people have seen images of cornucopias before and the FOTL logo looks like it would have one by association. It's not like it's some completely unrelated object or something

So shitty memories, lack of actually paying attention, and the general dimness of millions leading to this "effect" is less realistic than alternate realities? It's no wonder you couldn't read "Berenstain" when you were a kid.

I think there’s a lot more to physics that we haven’t figured out yet. It’s attributed to bad memory because we just don’t have a way of interpreting it in our brains yet.
Sometimes I wonder if the infinite parallel universe theory is real and we are having memories cross over from other dimensions.

Good lord. Froot Loops, Oscar Mayer and Berenstain Bears have been spelled the same way since at least the 1970s when I was a kid and noticed them.

WTF? Did we go back to the year 2015? You just now hearing about the Mandela Effect? It's simply a study of how unreliable memories are over long periods of time paired with mass confirmation bias.

The Rambo movie, First Blood, came out 40 years ago.

Stumbled across it when trying to confirm my memory was right and the OP was wrong. (OP was right)

Unrelated to the OP, but it bothers me more than all the nelson mandela things.
