He isnt having an honest discussion or debate, he is a clown looking for a stage. Dont give him one. Ignore him.

Every time I prove one of your assertions wrong you clarify or change your opinion.
You are more slippery than a catfish.

They deny justification by faith in Christ alone and require meritorious works to add to and improve justification.
Catholics do not deny justification by faith in Christ alone. We affirm that faith is the root of justification but not faith alone in the sense Protestants mean by sola fide. The Catholic Church teaches that justification is a free gift from God, received through faith. However, this faith must be living and active.

Because you definitely have a case of insurmountable ignorance.

Catholicism teaches that faith alone is insufficient to have everlasting life and we must add to our justification through meritorious good works.
Protestants believe the Bible teaches that faith alone receives justification in Christ, while good works are necessary evidences of such justification but do not add to that justification.

quote:Exclusivity is your example? That's only an example of you not know what I was saying or not understanding what I was saying. I didn't change anything about what I said. My last post on it was the same as my first post: that Catholicism teaches an exclusivity that goes beyond the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Wrong .. you have insurmountable ignorance. You truly believe what you believe. You do not reject Rome, you reject what you think Rome is.
Therefore there is hope for you.

Mate you go too far. Show grace to all fellow Christians and if theres anything to sort out - leave that to God.

I've also restated your own beliefs back at you and other Catholics on this forum and haven't had much push back on the factualness of what I've stated that the RCC teaches, only disagreement with my interpretations of Scripture in response. I go out of my way to ensure that what I'm arguing against is accurate to what you actually believe or the RCC teaches to be true.
If you think I have "insurmountable ignorance", I don't know how anyone can be guilty of knowingly rejecting Catholicism.

Yeah but you only latch on to things you truly dont understand.
You are a protestant, yall are really good at rewriting your own history and then basing your interpretations off that history.

So what is Rome?
One, holy, Catholic and apostolic church.
It is the men commissioned by Christ to “ forgive men’s sins and they are forgiven”
“Hold them bound and they are held bound”
These are the men that replaced Judas by laying hands on Mathias and adding him to the apostles

Yeah but you only latch on to things you truly dont understand.
I believe that is a false gospel. Do you think I don't understand that particular taeching?
