Man rolling on ground, touting religious experience at gas station: OPSO

A Columbia man is facing charges after he allegedly caused a disturbance at a Chevron Gas Station on Jonesboro Road in West Monroe.
According to an arrest affidavit for Daniel Gilbert, age 35, deputies were dispatched to the station on a disturbing the peace complaint.
The caller and a witness at the business said they saw a white man wearing short white pants and a dark shirt causing a disturbance.
They said the suspect was running through the parking lot screaming vulgar language and approaching customers pumping gas at a fast pace while repeating gospel songs and rolling on the ground near the fuel pumps.
Deputies made contact with the suspect on Sandal Street. Gilbert said he was screaming in the parking lot claiming he was born again through Christ.
He said he continued to talk to customers in a loud voice after being told to stop because they did not understand.
