As I said in the first thread on this, that would likely be a bad idea. They aren't working alone. If you started pummeling one of them you'd likely be shot/stabbed/swarmed by one of their partners within seconds.
Best bet would be to see them rob someone else and then lay one out with a nice block as they fled the scene of the crime. Then you'd have to hightail it out of there.
Or have a gun. That would work too.

I would love to see one of them jump up to try and steal something for someone and the bus, and the person grabs them and takes them for a ride. The full grown men running from a freaking 7 year old, body slam the little fricker and be done with it.

In prep for the Olympics, the Brazilian authorities were rounding up groups like this. But...
It turns out some of the police units were taking them out into the surrounding countryside and summarily executing them. Effective but not too smart when the entire world is watching what is going on there in prep for the games.
