Target recently decided to move away from gender specific signs and labeling around their stores. Seeing a clear opportunity to troll people who are angry over nothing, Mike Melgaard took to Target's Facebook page to ruffle some feathers.

I think that's funny, but how in the store does this work practically now?

Without signs that say girls and boys are all the clothes just in a big pile and i have to figure out where they are? That just sounds annoying as shite.

I make it a point to carry at Target. You know, because they "banned" it.

Although I shop there maybe once a quarter. They usually have good clearance items.

The only change is in how they label toys. Clothes won't be affected at all.

People seem really upset about this, but how much does it really affect them?

Also, I like how none of the people's names were blurred out.

Ya, the toy thing doesn't bother me at all. My wife said she always thought the boy toys were way cooler, and since I agree, I can see why you'd want to get away from girls just playing with ovens and dolls all the time.

I'd imagine even if they extended this idea to other areas, it will still be basically the same thing with the gender stuff grouped together. Otherwise, it would probably be a cluster.

But I suppose they have spent a good deal of money figuring out how to reorganize if they went that far with it.

how can I tell which Barbie action figures are for the boys and which GI Joe dolls are for the girls if there is no sign in the toy section?

Those probably would seem funny to people whose sole source of happiness in life is imagining themselves to be better than the poor rubes who care about such nonsense as the distinction between the sexes, the fate of civilization, etc.

Lol look at the fake target guy and his "I'm better than you" jokes. Omg so funny.

the people whining are just as bad as the SJWs who whine

this is a private business making a private decision. they're allowed to not shop there anymore. we're allowed to laugh at them

Why shouldn't someone care about these things? It's not like Target made the decision in a vacuum. People with kids sense that a certain way of looking at the world is making a push to change the world their kids will grow up in, and not for the better, so they rail against this stuff.

And so, why are you laughing at them? Well, besides the fact that you are so much wiser than 99% of your contemporary humans and 99.99% of all the humans in history?

That's not a personal shot at you. I just tire of the general mindset that people are stupid and ignorant for having normal human reactions to things.

Finally! I've been wanting to get my son a doll, but it was put under the girls label, so I was not able to.
