Trader Joe's may be those things, but they have stood up to the PC/coronabros a lot in the last year
Correct, Trader Joe’s is not a “soy boy” company, they are actually rational and logical on what they stand for, but both left/right extremists can’t see that

. I heard that the virus can't possibly spread inside Wal Mart, Lowe's or Home Depot
I've had to wear masks in the few times I went in a WalMart and Home Depot. Does that not count as a restriction?

This is what the left has done well. They take the loud minority and implement the change the rest of them want. This type of behavior needs to be encouraged and applauded.
I don't applaud the left for acting like children and I'm not going to applaud the right for acting like children.
This type of behavior should be universally shamed.
You do you though.

so you deem both sides equally at fault for the political climate we are in?

just curious since you were pointing the blame equally in that last post

It's not universally shamed. And, because of that, it's very effective.

I am. I'm applauding this type of behavior to help eliminate ridiculous policy. I'm hopeful (and confident) that more and more people are just going to stop wearing masks and these policies will become worthless.

nice talking to you Salmon. good talk

not really, no

this will happen, but not because of people like in the OP
those people do more harm than good

people are getting hung up on the fact that a mask is involved.
It should be treated like any other store/company policy. If you don't want to follow that store/company's policy, shop elsewhere.
it really is that simple.

I shop at Ingles and they’re handling things the correct way. They have a high school kid posted up at the entrance offering masks to people that don’t have one. I politely decline and move on. They don’t make a scene and neither do I.

right
we have a local grocer who just posted that they will no longer require masks (this is in LA)
I was already shopping there, but this week it was noticeably more crowded
this is what should happen

Points for busting out the Sovereign Citizen arguments. Wacko. You know TJ's is going to have a mask mandate so don't go there.
I hate fricking masks with a burning hot vengeance but I wear them if a private business I want to go to requires it.

Love those stores. I see someone open carrying just about every time I'm in there when we're up your way hiking or whitewater kayaking.

They’re one of the best regional chains out there. They just want people to buy groceries and don’t care about your politics. I appreciate that they push locally sourced produce and product too. I have a friend that’s a bee farmer and everyone rejected his honey except Ingles. Those types of gestures have more of an impact on the community than any woke policy ever could.

I was hoping Ingles would try to move south towards Columbia, but I doubt that will happen now that Lowe's has moved in the area. Also a superb regional chain out of Wilmington if you haven't run across them yet.
