honestly, I am not sure...just seems like a tremendous waste of time and resources to tie up a courtroom, jury, and two attorneys because a guy bit a dog.

It wasn't his dog for one. Two, the basis behind the law is deciding what society finds acceptable. I doubt most of society would find this acceptable.

But seriously, who cares? Dog bite him, he bit back. Any way you chew it, it was self defense. This is the pussification of America. If this happened out in nature, where this little bitch arse dog bit a much larger alpha male, I'm sure much worse would happen other than an eye popping out. If you gonna act like the alpha dog, don't be surprised when the real Alpha dog puts you in your place.
