Thanks for the link. Some of that sounds familiar!
I have a close relative who is kind of like this, but I think his frequently contrarian stance is largely just to rile people up purely for his own personal entertainment. I don't think he really believes half the shite he says. Or maybe he's crazier than I think..

I think their brains are wired differently.

Choctaw, I am educated in engineering and physics; I just don't see it getting hot enough to incinerate that many people. But I do not think our government was behind it.

So, I got to leave this board now before I start believing any of this shite.

ate guys, I think us conspirators will call this one a W though. I'm out of cell service, heading to the woods.

You'll be safe there. Maybe...

(FYI - You do know that the NSA is tracking your mobile phone, don't you?)

Conspiracy theories spawn their own discourse, complete in itself and virtually immune to rational argument. Five assumptions distinguish the conspiracy theorist from more conventional patterns of thought: appearances deceive; conspiracies drive history; nothing is haphazard; the enemy always gains; power, fame, money, and sex account for all.

I would add that a lack of evidence is proof of a conspiracy.

Could you expand a bit on the "airport to swap planes?"

Both flights converged over Stewart Air Force Base, a former air force base that Ronald Lauder fought to privatize. It was privatized. Coincidentially enough, he was also the man who led the charge for the privatization of the World Trade Center.

Planes landed at the base, were swapped out with remote controlled drones.

If we fought with the terrorists to control what we didn't want the "Russians" to control, why didn't we just stay when the Soviets bailed out in 1989?
Because it was largely a covert operation plus we didn't have anywhere close to the manpower there at the time as we would if declaring all out war on them.

Is Hamid Kharzai the CIA operative you're referring to?
Nope.

ETA: But isn't it interesting that Afghanistan refused the pipeline deal with Unocal, and then when we invade and take over we make Unocal's Kharzai their President.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Well, the "covert" aspect of arming the muj was pretty well blown when the first Stingers started knocking down Soviet aircraft. There were British Blowpipes being used in other countries, when they were first used in Afghanistan, so they provided a thin veil of secrecy. But when we started giving them Stingers, the worst kept secret lost any semblance of secrecy.

The U.S. had very few boots on the ground in Afghanistan in 2001. A few SF ODAs and some CIA "Special Activities" paramilitary guys. We were using the Northern Alliance as our proxies and calling in air strikes. I fairly certain our largest troop strength in Afghanistan didn't occur until the Obama administration.

Who is the CIA Operative you've alluded to?

Well, I guess I'll have to look this particular blog that addresses this latest development.

The airbase is a joint base, with Air National Guard sharing the base. I'm sure there are accurate records to show this swap.

ACC/TX - There is a lot that makes me uncomfortable about the official story from Commission redaction; to Flight 93 crash site; WTC 7 (especially with those tenants); William Rodriguez reports of explosions in a tower basement; lack of clear Pentagon video and other issues (I find it interesting that truthers are split on the Pentagon and many think missiles/no plane is disinfo); wargames exercises; Jeb seizing Huffman Aviation docs and hijacker/Huffman weirdness suggesting some type of drug running op; Pakistani military/intel guy who reportedly wired money to Atta on Capitol Hill on 9/11; Sibel Edmonds/Indira Singh intel angles, etc, etc.

So, if you want to make a case that this was Operation Northwoods, OK. But, what I can't get around are the cell/airphone calls. If you think the official story is a lie, then you must think those calls were fabricated by crisis actors on the ground saying they received them (or they were duped by people imitating their loved ones). What is your position there?

Sure but what about the pentagon? Let's see the footage on that one

I saw the footage of the hit on the Pentagon and the footage showed a silver jetliner impacting the building. The footage was taken from a surveillance camera, I think.

I believe that the calls were done in real time, but from a boiler room by actors.

Did they swap planes because they thought the hijackers - if there were any - might pussy out at the last moment? Were the drones filled with extra fuel or explosives? What happened to the passengers?

And yet, with all the people involved in this charade, not one has come forward and claimed to be involved.

Shocking, isn't it.

We can't keep NSA spying secret, yet the biggest shite ever to be pulled on the American public (according to conspiracy) is locked up tight.
