He should have been jailed for a long time and ordered to pay restitution.
He's a criminal and a thief.
He's a criminal and a thief.

Even if this was from last year, this is the feel good story of this year.

But he was slapped with a four-year jail term last year after the banking glitch came to light.

An interesting trade off. You can do whatever you want for 2 years, but you have to spend the next 4 years in prison. Who would take that deal?
If I was single.

My friend's aunt was a bank manager and she stole something like $4MM over several years out of the cash reserve. She knew when audits were coming and brought in the missing money from other branches.

after a bank error
This clearly says it was the bank's fault. Did he give himself the money or did the bank give it to him?
The brilliant part is buying 1000 one oz. gold coins, for later, then claiming you spent it all on hookers and blow.

I take it she eventually got caught. What did she spend the money on? Did she go to prison?

"Strippers/ cocaine", this ron aint no idiot, he dumped that shite in a well and probly has tons of gold waiting for him. I mean you cant trace strippers and drugs
Bingo.
Move the money around. First via banks and then cash starts moving.
Of a million, you could likely hide 800k with nothing to show for it.
