In this case, "tallest midget" is especially apropeaux. Seriously, does God make Cajuns taller than 5'8"?

My roommate in college was from Larose and was 6'4"/275. He was the friendliest baw until he got drunk then he acted like a fricking pirate. He would grind up on any chic he could and would grab theirhand and put it on his chest. The guy was nuts.

I’ve met some fine arse women from Chackbay.

But they all had thick accents.

Yes chackbay has some fine women as well as thick, but I wouldn't call their accent thick. Are you confusing Choctaw with chackbay?

My favorite Cajun accents are from Evangeline, St. Landry and Vermilion parishes. I only include Vermilion because that Kaplan accent is freaking hilarious. Even youngsters sound like old coonass grandmas.

As far as the "yat" influence on accents, in Cameron Parish, you have a "crawfish ball". In St. Charles Parish, you have a "crawfish berl".

Most of the bayou cajuns have issues with the (ta) "th" pronunciation . Not sure if its from learning the(ta) words Thibodeaux and Theriot at a young age or a general genetical inability to pronounce this(tis) syllable. The words Southern, Thunder, Mother, etc cause great strain on their vocabulary much like an R on someone from certain parts of the east coast

Well stated.

I find the Iberians to be a friendly and lively lot, therefore I have an affection for them.

The bayou accent is different from the Cajun prairie accent, but it is subtle.

To me the difference is the prairie cajun accent is about as thick as it gets.

Mamou and Pine Prairie are less than 10 miles from each other and the accents are world's apart

The LA DMZ is in that 10 mile stretch of Hwy 13. Totally different accents and culture

The way they pronounce words with "th" is because in French, the "h" is silent.

And there are plenty of Theriots that are prairie cajuns.
