I'm reading somewhere else that maybe it hasn't been confirmed there were any american's were on the plane? I thought several places have confirmed 23?

watching cnn now, they said a few minutes ago, it was still unconfirmed.

Supposedly the 23 came from the passenger manifest, via their passports, they said that's usually not wrong.
It doesn't seem like a hard thing to find out though to be honest. Just trying to buy time for whatever reason

I'm sure most news outlets are doing the same. After all, it's all text and no audio. Any one could put together a video like this with a black background and white text. Sure, the Ukraine government reported earlier about such a phone call but until there's audio and it's a confirmed phone call, I'll take it at face value, which isn't much right now until further verification.

Considering no one went to war over Iran Air 655 or Korean Air 007, I'd say there's a precedent for not doing anything.

Yeah I mean what are we supposed to do? Unless these guys specifically targeted Americans I dont see why it makes much of a difference other than it sucks arse. Human beings died. Doesnt matter where they are from.

It cracks me up how everyone takes every bullshite report as a fact because they read it on the web. When these stories are breaking news there are a shite load of people spreading bad info.

We will probably use this to push for stronger economic sanctions from the EU on Russia.
