The movie ‘leave tomorrow behind’ was pretty good and had a modern twist on what could occur. My biggest actionable takeaway was we should learn to speak Spanish.

Over the years my view on prepping has evolved. Currently, I am leaning towards the if you can survive a month or two, you will be among the small percentage who survive. This would entail hiding with your supplies as the masses kill each other over the remaining cans of ravioli. After a month or two, the survivors will mostly be self reliant hard working people (maybe 10-20%) and there will be enough resources to go around.

This is a warning from China most likely. They said any nation who works with Trump on trade would be punished

Which is why we need to stop the Russian invasion.

China's a threat to Russia too. We should have been giving China the north Korean treatment for the last 20 years.

And guess which foreign entity is buying land next to power plants.

Seriously with canes we know it’s coming, we know it’s very temporary, we still have coms, water, sewerage and we know it won’t be Betsy or Camille like (6-8 weeks no power)

Even on gulf coast it would be chaos in 48 hours or less

It’s not a solar storm.
Apparently it’s varying temps across the grid and the system cannot manage it.

agreed. Sounds like a lazy play to blame climate change instead of owning up to poor preparation and operation.

Pardon my ignorance but what the hell? Are they saying the varied temps increased power demand above capacity causing nationwide blackouts or are they saying the power variation caused failures in generation and transmission?
