So what would the OT weather experts say the chances of the BR St Paddy's Day Parade still being on for Saturday?....

Even though we talked about it in the other thread, 1000% chance still happening. Just look at their facebook page

This will be my first time going to the parade after living here 4 1/12 years, and I have some buddies from MS coming to visit

I hope it's still on

It's an awesome time

One of the few things BR gets right. Can't believe you're still a virgin after all these years. It's an awesome shitshow.

Other than LSU games/tailgating there is not a better day to be in BR.

I know opinions vary but what's a good place to set up?

I've never been to this parade much less any parade in BR. Usually spend my Mardi Gras home in Biloxi

I'd try to aim for somewhere near zippys, but you'll want to get there early. It can get pretty crowded past the overpass. That's where I watched it last year, luckily I live on the route this year though.

ETA if you want a slightly less crowded area, try right on the other side of the overpass near Zeeland street market

ETAA after the parade head to whichever bar you prefer, but they will all be a good time

Let's hope all that bad stuff in and south of lake Charles dies down a bit. Depends on where it moves that shite looks nasty.
