My drive was great until it wasn’t. Started off just a bit of snow/pellets and halfway to work it was armageddon 5mph with super slick roads and fine but thick snow gushing out of clouds. Crazy how fast it went downhill.

The kids are giving me shite about snow. What's the closest I can drive and expect to see snow on the ground? Will Vicksburg do it?

Every inch counts, Pedro.
In all seriousness, I've had enough snow this week to last a couple of years.

The sky in east Tennessee was bright blue this a.m. Now to the southwest a strong white haze is happening.
Our generator still isn't fixed, and last weekend we ordered a replacement which arrived on Monday (Amazon delivered on time as promised) and the parts to tie it legally into the electric system are all here.
Having lost power three times since October, I think of our having a working generator as a talisman to keep ice and tree limbs off our electric grid.

Lots of snow & ice here in Uptown Dallas & expected to continue through early tomorrow morning. It’s going to be interesting to see attendance & how far ticket prices fall for the Cotton Bowl at Jerry World tomorrow night.

DFW is a mess already, went downhill quickly. Aa operations falling apart, hope no one is flying through there today or tomorrow

I’m in DFW. Snow coming down pretty hard all morning. Huge fluffy flakes. Just started sleeting a few minutes ago but supposed to go back to snow in about 30 minutes.

That will be very interesting. I know it’s an important game, but there are more important things to worry about in Dallas.

Resisting the urge to turn on the heat in the house since it is just me, so far I am winning.
