Can you seriously not get out of your driveway without doing all that? Are you doing it just to have something to do...I get that lol.

Local news is calling for a heavy snow for me. Zero chance any of it gets shoveled.

I use to heat with wood because it was cheap and i could do it myself. Just not worth it anymore since it's so hard on my body. Buying wood is more expensive than gas.

Snow would be fine (Im in Tuscaloosa) but I dont want any ice. Nobody wants ice.
I live in the rural west part of Tuscaloosa County. Just a little ice on these curvy country roads is a nightmare. frick ice.

Day 2 of shoveling out and it still sucks.

Snow fricking sucks.

There's a reason why people are moving south in droves and not the other way around.

Nope. I really need to do more, but I got our garage doors free of ice, and enough moved to drive on it.

First image shows me using a wheelbarrel to move it as this large slab of concrete I was cleaning wasn't close enough to the grass to just shove.

Second image is one ice slab stood up. I had a few bigger than that.

Third image is the edge of driveway to road. I had to take down about 15" of slushy ice just so we could get the car out. Had to use a regular shovel to break up the ice blocks.

And now they are calling for 3-5" here in Atlanta for next Friday night/Saturday morning.

Still a week out though so that'll probably change

it sure as shite was when it crippled Bham and Atlanta years ago - slept on the floor for 2 nights at Atlanta Airport due to it - no hotels, and no rental cars.

Damnit. That sucks

I've never failed to make it out of our driveway. Even with 18 inches...I plowed it with the front bumper.

Big hill at the start of the drive that I never can make it up when i come home. I just make it as far as I can and walk the rest. When I go to leave since it's on a hill it's not a problem to back down.

Guess I'm lucky. Our drive is about 300 yards long. If I couldn't make it..I just wouldn't go anywhere.

2inches of snow is not a lot to me - and my wife is from Colorado, so it is a laughable amount - but Bham, 2 inches of snow is system wide meltdown.
