Major accident I-12 eastbound @ Mandeville/Covington exit

For anyone coming this way, I’d wait if I were you. Closed the interstate at Madisonville/Covington and Mandeville/Covington to route people around. Surface streets are about as bad as you can imagine. I’m going zero mph at the moment.

Apparently an 18 wheeler flipped over.

They usually hold it together at least until Livingston Parish.

The entire length of i12 is a clusterfrick daily

I have no idea why more cross country trucks dont take hwy 90 which is mostly deserted

If these truck drivers would act like they are driving a vehicle that weighs tons and not like they are driving a Ferrari this wouldn't happen.

I shake my head every time I see them cutting in and out of traffic at 80mph.
