What area you in? Maybe we can do business (of the cattle, not drug, variety).

I’m also in the market for a cattle trailer.

My dad has about 50 head north of BR. Pretty much just does it as a hobby these days; he'll bring a few each year to the stockyard. It's not a very big operation

If you are "experimenting," make sure you take regular notes, compile the data and make sure there is some sort of control group. Remember, it's all about the proper application of the scientific method.

John Hopkins released studies trying to push these to treat depression:

They are the real deal, properly administered in a good clinical environment, same w MDMA. But holy shite if Refer Madness still holds sway, it'll be many lifetimes before muh X and muh shroom go mainstream. Sucks.

Same here. A couple hundred cattle, about 30 goats, some egg-laying hens, and a few horses. All the cattle are on leased land though.

OP,

If you’re interested in psilocybin, you should seek out Peyote and compare psilocybin to mescaline.

Clinically speaking, if you live anywhere near cows, I am certain you can find what you are looking to research very easily. A short drive to the country could yield all you need to research for many weekends in a row.

If you do obtain psychedelic mushrooms, do yourself a favor and dry them, or preferably dehydrate, before use. The taste is horrible.

You can grow psilocybin mushrooms at home in your closet but they require constant attention and are extremely finicky. It’s not something for an amateur.

But yet they’ll grow just fine in cow shite in a pasture

As myself and some others have already pointed out, many farmers have caught on to this and have taken steps to prevent psilocybin mushrooms from forming on patties. When I was at LSU a lot of people used to go to the Kleinpeter farm and try to steal mushrooms, which led them to beef up security as well.

The field behind Tiger Plaza apartments (if that’s still the name) used to have some but I don’t know if the field is still there. I think they built another complex on it.

Also, if you plan to pick mushrooms from cow patties, you need to be out there at 4AM or so when the morning dew starts to come in.

Only if you can find a pasture where the farmer doesn’t feed mineral to his cattle.

Also, “lab” or homegrown mushrooms tend to be much more potent.

The mushrooms themselves taste horrible, cow shite or no cow shite.

That’s also why you should dehydrate them, because a juicy one is 1000x worse.

Yeah, I know. I couldn't pass up a shitty joke.

We used to grind dried mushrooms up in a coffee grinder, then stir into a glass of orange juice and quickly down it to avoid the taste. Also, WHEEEEE!

I always just bit the bullet and chewed them with a chaser. Unless I could get fudge bars (mushrooms covered in chocolate) which were delicious.

I haven’t eaten mushrooms since college though so who knows what the kids are doing these days. I know they’ve kind of fallen out of favor. I had a short stint at LSU when I was supplying damn near the entire campus.

Some buddies and I would go shroom picking in the cow pastures down River Road before you reach L'Auberge. We then conducted multiple experiments that would last up to an entire day. We concluded that we did indeed trip balls.

I remember hearing of that area as well as around Ben Hur but it’s been built up so much recently.

My buddies picked some at his Dad’s farm, dehydrated them, and split them up between people with kool-aid. Everyone else was fine, but it made me nauseous and felt awful for about 5 hours. Any experience with something like that?
