Loved the Patrick Mcmanus Exit Laughing columns. I used to photo copy them from the library. His writing was great always made me crack up.

My dad subscribed to True Detective. When he finished reading a magazine he’d give it to me because none of my siblings were interested. I read every article and am still fascinated with crime stories.

Though he’s been gone for 48 years, I still think about my dad every time I read or view a story about crime. It created a bond between us that I treasured for all of my life.

Bump on the Playboy answers, but visual aids people!

The Bond girls were always pretty good.

I was a huge sports fan as a kid, and my maw maw always got me a Sports Illustrated subscription for Christmas.

She had it delivered to their house though. I was always over there, and we lived a mile down the road. Man, it was always awkward picking up the swimsuit issue

Late 70's - early 80's it was Time, Newsweek -Dad's Favorites. .
Reader's Digest- Mom's favorite
I read all the above just didn't admit it.
For Porn I had the National Geographics and the Sear's / Montgomery Ward's Bra & Pantie section of their catalog / magazine.
I was a Boy Scout so Boy's Life and Ranger Rick.
Popular Science & Polpular Mechanics.
Outdoor Life
Field & Stream
Southern Living- Which had to be totally redesigned a few years back cause it was "Racist" & not "Politically Correct" and now the mag is boring. Hardly any Fried Chicken recipes anymore Jeez
Car & Driver
Road & Track
Guns & Ammo
For good porn paying a stranger at 7-11 for a 12 pack and a Hustler.
Good times
